Introduction
In this report, Justice Today intends to present the way the disciplinary mechanisms function within Kosovo Judicial Council (hereinafter KJC) and Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (hereinafter KPC) from entry into force of Law 06/L-057 on Disciplinary Responsibility of Judges and Prosecutors (hereinafter LDR) until May 2021.
Furthermore, this report contains the analysis of the above Law and KJC and KPC regulations on disciplinary proceedings, addressing their advantages and disadvantages in detail. Special attention in this regard has been paid to statistical data related to the development of disciplinary proceedings against judges in KJC and prosecutors in KPC from entry into force of the new law on disciplinary procedure.
